The Owner
Tricia Ward, R.N. is a graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, MA., and an Aging Life Care Professional®. She has over twenty-five years experience in effectively providing and managing healthcare of individuals in both the home and hospital settings. After completing entrepreneurial training through Southeastern Massachusetts Manufacturing Partnership in 1999, she founded Seamark Private Nursing, providing in-home skilled nursing and home health aide services.
Today, her focus is in supporting the needs of home care patients and their caregiving families through aging life care® consultation, teaching, coaching and mentoring as well as skilled nursing visits, and respite care.
Ms. Ward is an active member of the Aging Life Care Association®, Watson Caring Science Institute and participant in The Nursing Way, an online community that fosters the holistic wellbeing of nurses. In her integrative nursing practice, Tricia offers several natural balancing/healing modalities including reiki, expressive art, guided imagery, Bach flower remedies, and essential oils in accordance with the nurse practice act and physicians' orders.
She has also authored and illustrated Heartlight: an expression of divine love, an inspirational children’s picture book.

About the artwork:
The medium used for creating the Heartlight illustrations is wax. The dots were created by warming a colored wax crayon (paperless) by the flame of a candle to a point where a drop forms and then guiding the drip to canvas.
